MLC 2025: Probable Playing XI for TEX vs WAS

In the 23rd match of the MLC 2025, Texas Super Kings vs Washington Freedom (TEX vs WAS) has been scheduled for Wednesday evening, July 2 (starting at 04:30 IST on July 3), at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill.

Both teams will play their eighth match of the season. The second-placed Washington Freedom, the defending champions, have 12 points after seven matches with six wins and one defeat. After starting this season with a defeat against San Francisco Unicorns, Freedom have won all their next six matches, including beating Unicorns in their second league stage meeting.

On the other hand, the third-placed Texas Super Kings have 10 points after seven matches with five wins and two losses. They have won their last two games after suffering two back-to-back defeats.

It will be their second meeting in the MLC 2025. Washington Freedom won their first meeting of the season by seven wickets with two balls remaining, as Freedom successfully chased down the 221-run target in the final over.  

Before the MLC 2025, they faced each other three times. Freedom won by six wickets in their MLC 2023 league stage meeting. In the MLC 2024, they met twice in the league stage, where the first one had no result; Freedom won the second one by 42 runs. 

Both teams are unlikely to make any significant changes in their respective playing XIs for this match.
