In the 19th match of the MLC 2025, Washington Freedom vs San Francisco Unicorns (WAS vs SF) has been scheduled on Saturday afternoon, June 28 (starting at 01:30 IST on June 29) at Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie in Dallas.

It will be their second meeting in the MLC 2025. They met in the first game of the tournament, where the MLC 2024 runners-up San Francisco Unicorns thrashed the defending champions Washington Freedom by 123 runs after scoring 269/5. 

Meanwhile, before the MLC 2025, they met four times. In their only MLC 2023 league stage meeting, Freedom won by 30 runs. In their only league stage meeting in the MLC 2024, Unicorns won by six wickets (DLS method) in a rain-affected game. Later, in the Qualifier, Freedom won by seven wickets. In the MLC 2024 Final, Freedom won by 96 runs.

MLC 2025, Match 19: WAS vs SF - Points Table Status

It is going to be a battle between the top two teams of the MLC 2025, as both will play their seventh match of the season. San Francisco Unicorns are leading the points table with 12 points after winning all their six matches. Meanwhile, apart from one defeat against Unicorns, the second-placed Washington Freedom have won all five other matches and earned 10 points. 

Unicorns have already booked their place for the Playoffs of the season, and Freedom have also almost confirmed the MLC 2025 playoffs spot. 

Both teams are unlikely to change their respective playing XIs for this match.
