After the Asia Cup 2025 campaign, the Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to play with South Africa for a 2-match Test series. It will be Pakistan's home series. To gain the best results out of the upcoming fixtures, the host team has already stated their preparations.

In the meantime, when the Pakistan cricket team was busy in a training session, Mohsin Naqvi was spotted on the ground. The moment Naqvi in Lahore was captured oncamera and now on social media platforms. Ahead of the Test series, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) went into the field to interact with the players and coaching staff.

He did the same before the Asia Cup 2025 final as well. When Pakistan was preparing for the final match against India in Dubai, Naqvi interacted with the players. What happened in the final of the Asia Cup 2025 is now known to all. India won the tournament over Pakistan but had to celebrate the precious occasion without the trophy, as Naqvi ran away with the trophy from the stadium, which was something new for the entire cricket universe.

Team Pakistan should pay focus on their performance

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) already threatened to take steps against Naqvi in the upcoming days. Keeping the controversial part aside, the Pakistan cricket team now has to focus on their own field performance, as they have experienced a roller coaster ride in the Test format as well.

The first Test will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from 12 to 16 October, while the second Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 20 to 24 October. Both Test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. After the test series, they will also be involved in a white ball series.
