Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s rise in cricket continues to attract attention. The Rajasthan Royals teenager has impressed fans with his fearless batting and strong performances in IPL 2026, making him one of the most talked-about young players in Indian cricket.
According to reports, MRF is set to become Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s new bat sponsor. Sources claim that the company has offered him ₹12 crore per year to display the MRF sticker on his bat. If the deal goes through, it could become a major sponsorship agreement for the young batter.
Sooryavanshi’s growing popularity has also attracted interest from several other brands. With his current bat contract nearing its end, reports suggest that multiple companies, including major tyre brands, have approached him for sponsorship deals.
MRF reportedly offers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ₹12 crore for bat sponsorship
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi currently has a bat sponsorship deal with SS (Sareen Sports). The young left-handed batter from Bihar reportedly earns around ₹2 crore from the deal. However, SS is reportedly open to letting him move if another brand agrees to buy out his three-year contract.
According to people close to the development, Sooryavanshi has received an offer of more than ₹12 crore per year for bat sponsorship. If the deal is finalised at this amount, it would be around six times his reported current deal and could put him in a major commercial bracket for an emerging Indian cricketer. Talks between Sooryavanshi and MRF are currently underway.

If the discussions are successful, Sooryavanshi could soon be seen using an MRF bat. The possible partnership would also connect him with a brand that has worked with several top cricketers. Cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli have both been closely associated with MRF bats during their careers.
How the ₹12 crore offer compares to Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, and other stars' deals
The reported ₹12 crore annual offer for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi would place him among the highest-paid Indian cricketers for bat sponsorship. Virat Kohli reportedly earns ₹12.5 crore annually from MRF, while Shubman Gill earns around ₹8–10 crore per year from the same brand.
Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal reportedly earn around ₹3–4 crore and ₹4 crore per year, respectively, from CEAT. Hardik Pandya also reportedly earns around ₹3–4 crore annually through his SG bat sponsorship deal.
Rishabh Pant reportedly earns around ₹2 crore per year from SG. If Sooryavanshi’s reported ₹12 crore MRF offer is finalised, his deal would be significantly higher than Pant’s reported figure and close to Kohli’s reported annual earnings from MRF.
What happens to Sooryavanshi's existing SS sponsorship next
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi currently has a bat sponsorship deal with SS (Sareen Sports), which reportedly pays him around ₹2 crore per year. His existing agreement is understood to be a three-year contract.
However, reports suggest that SS is open to letting Sooryavanshi move to another brand if the new company agrees to buy out the remaining contract. This could allow the young batter to end his current association and take up a new deal if the terms are agreed.
Talks between Sooryavanshi and MRF are reportedly underway. If the discussions are completed successfully and the reported ₹12 crore offer is finalised, Sooryavanshi could begin using an MRF bat in the future.
