Kolkata Knight Riders, during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 encounter against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Eden Gardens, utilized the slower short ball effectively to dismiss the batters consistently, capitalizing on the stiff bounce. Lucknow, with its second win, made its way up to the fifth position with a net run rate of -0.359, while Kolkata stayed at the ninth position among the ten teams.
