Mumbai Indians add new franchise in successful journey

The Mumbai Indians, who are the joint-most successful franchise with five trophies in the Indian Premier League (IPL), have added another team to the cabin. They already have one in the WPL, SA20 named MI Cape Town, MLC named MI New York, and ILT20 named MI Emirates. Now, in The Hundred, they have got the MI London. The Hundred’s most successful side, Oval Invincibles, is going to rebrand as the MI London side, the first choice of their Indian co-owners.

The change is anticipated to take place in 2026 and will bring the side in line with the rest of the Ambai family’s Mumbai Indians stable.
