Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals (MSCMR) registered a nail-biting 6-wicket victory over Eagle Thane Strikers (ETS) in Match 11 at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy. Chasing 171, MSCMR reached the target in 19.4 overs, with powerful knocks by Chinmay Sutar and Siddhesh Lad.

After losing toss, Eagle Thane The Strikers bat first and have compiled 170/8 in 20 overs. Shashikant Kadam was the top scorer with a quick 52 off 29 balls, supplemented by 24 off 16 by Anish Chaudhery and 20 off 11 by Vinay Suresh Kumar. MSCMR bowlers tightened their screws during the middle and death overs—Maxwell Swaminathan was the best among them with 2/35 off 4 overs, followed by Rohan Rajendra Ghag (1/21) and Aditya Dhumal (1/15). ETS lost steam in the last overs as wickets fell at frequent intervals. Though fireworks were in the early phase of play, they failed to cross the 180 barrier.

Chinmay Sutar set the pace with 55 off 35 balls, which was ably supported by skipper Siddhesh Lad, who remained till the end with 50 off 41 balls. Sahil Jadhav chipped in at the end, hitting 36 from 20 balls. For ETS, Atharva Ankolekar took 2/28 from 4 overs, and Shashank Attarde also made an impact with 2/33. But their efforts were not enough to deter MSCMR from sailing to a two-ball victory.
