Musical start to Bengal Pro T20 League as Sunidhi Chauhan to perform at Eden Gardens

A new chapter in the history of Bengali cricket is set to begin in June 2025. The organizers have also hinted at more surprises — like special lighting, famous cricketers being present, and a grand presentation with visual effects.

The men’s matches will start the same day with a thrilling opening game between Malda Sobisco Smashers and Murshidabad Kings. The women’s matches will begin on June 12 at the Jadavpur University campus in Salt Lake, showing the league's effort to support women’s cricket in Bengal.

A total of 8 franchise teams will play in this year’s tournament. These teams include both young talents from Bengal and experienced cricketers. Last year, Sobisco Smashers Malda and the Murshidabad Kings were joint champions. That exciting final is still fresh in fans’ minds.
