Oman have announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka will jointly host from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
Oman are set for their fourth Men's T20 World Cup appearance, after the 2016, 2021, and 2024 editions. They have always been eliminated from the first round (group stage) of the tournament. While they won one game each in the 2016 and 2021 editions, they were winless in the 2024 edition, which was the first time that the tournament started from the major round since the tournament participants were raised to 16 teams.
In the 2016 edition, Oman created history by beating Ireland by two wickets, which was also their first match in the T20 World Cup history. In the 2021 edition, Oman defeated Papua New Guinea by 10 wickets after successfully chasing the 130-run target in 13.4 overs.

Jatinder Singh will lead Oman in the forthcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, while Vinayak Shukla will play his deputy role. The 44-year-old experienced all-rounder Aamir Kaleem has been dropped from the squad, who scored 64 runs and also took two wickets against India during the Asia Cup T20 2025.
Oman are in Group B in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, where they will face the hosts and one-time champions Sri Lanka, one-time winners Australia, and the other two non-WTC Test playing nations, Zimbabwe and Ireland.
