A virtual semifinal at the Dubai International Stadium between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The winner of the match will get a ticket to the final to face India, and the loser will have to pack their baggage. In the recent past, whenever these two nations faced each other on a cricket pitch, it turned into a high-octane clash. Before the beginning of the Asia Cup 2025, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 2-1 in July. Earlier this year, Pakistan swept them 3-0 at home. Overall, Pakistan has a clear distance from the Bangladesh cricket team. In head-to-head T20I stats, Pakistan is leading by 20-5. Today's Super Four match of the 2025 Asia Cup can be dependent on multiple individual brilliances. The pitches have been slow and tricky; spinners in the second half of the match can decide the winner of the match.

Toss Update:

After the India match, Litton Das remains on the sideline for today's match as well. So Jaker Ali came into the field as the stand-in captain for Bangladesh. He won the toss and decided to bowl first.

"It looks like a pretty dry wicket. We have been doing pretty well while bowling first, and hence they are going with that strategy," he said.
