A big win for Pakistan in the ongoing Hong Kong Super Sixes tournament. Skipper Abbas Afridi tilted the momentum of the match completely against Kuwait (KUW vs PAK) on November 7 at the Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok. When Pakistan needed 67 runs from the last 12 balls, Abbas Afridi smashed 6 sixes in the 5th over and took the match away from the opposition team. Pakistan cricket fans present at the gallery thoroughly enjoyed the moment.

After winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bowl first in the 6-over match. On the batting-friendly pitch, Kuwait scored 123 runs. Meet Bhavsar remained unbeaten for 41 off 14, and the unbeaten 31 off 9 came from Usman Patel's blade. Muhammad Shahzad turned out as the most expensive bowler for Pakistan, as he leaked 31 runs in an over.

The target was very challenging for any participating team of the tournament. Pakistan, when they went out in the middle to chase the massive target, naturally was under pressure. Until the end of the 4th over of the second innings, Kuwait was a step ahead to win the game.

Pakistan's Abbas Afridi hammered six 6s in a row

The 5th over changed all equations. Yasin Patel was the bowler for the over against Pakistan's Abbas Afridi. Pakistan then had no choice but to bat with maximum intensity to emerge as the winner of the rivalry. The right-handed batter showed his best and hammered six sixes in a row.

Pakistan won the match by 4 wickets. Afridi was named as the Man of the Match for his match-winning batting. Against 12 deliveries, he scored 55 runs, powered by one boundary and 8 sixes, which took his strike rate to 458.33. Shahid Aziz also played brilliantly, scoring an unbeaten 23 off 5 deliveries.
