PCB guidelines and rules for accredited personnel explained
PCB is very strict in the guidelines and rules for accredited personnel, especially regarding smoking concerns. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all areas where play can be watched, including pavilions, dressing rooms, stands, and embankments. Public smoking while in official attire or within restricted zones can be considered a disciplinary offense, which can lead to the permanent withdrawal of accreditation for media personnel.
It is not the first time that PSL experienced smoking in the stadium. Previously, Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim was caught smoking in the dressing room during a PSL match. While some fans have pointed it out, a few even compared it with a past smoking incident in the IPL of Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.
