The Champions Trophy is on the Nook Corner which is been hosted by Pakistan. Before that Pakistan hosted a tri-nation series between Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand. The first ODI was played between New Zealand and Pakistan. The match was held at Gaddafi Stadium where New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand posted a mammoth score of 330 with the loss of six wickets. In reply, Pakistan started their innings in the initial stages.
But as the match progressed they lost their plot and started to lose their wickets at continuous intervals and they were able to score 252 runs losing all their wickets and losing their first ODI for 78 runs. But rather than that a major incident highlighted the major issue of the stadium.

Rachin With Heavy Blow
New Zealand's opening batsman had faced a major blow on the 38 over of the match during the Pakistan chase. What had happened was Kushdil was batting and he hit a shot towards Rachin at deep backward square leg. Rachin made his position to attempt the catch who completely lost in lights and the ball struck into his face with a huge force.
Rachin with the blow just bent down himself he started bleeding soon the physio came to examine him,  and he was immediately taken out of the field for further treatment.  He went out for scans immediately leaving a question mark on the infrastructure of Pakistan Stadium.
Outrage of Public
The Champions Trophy is going to start on 19 February and Pakistan is host to it. Earlier through ICC inspection, it was said that ICC officials were unhappy with the condition of the stadium ahead of this big event. Even construction work was still on while the deadline was on bar.

Now the injury embedded in Rachin has raised many questions about the quality of the stadium. People have started ranting about PCB for poor lighting management through an ongoing series.
How did @ICC allow Pakistan's ground to host international matches??

ICC should ensure players' safety and if Pakistan can't provide shift CHAMPIONS TROPHY to Dubai.

Once the video was circulated on social media, people and officials raised questions about the quality of the grounds. One asked Rachin is a far better fielder than Pakistan cricketers don't tell me he misjudged it.
Another user says Pakistan can't organise a tri-series game because ICC allowed them to host the Champions Trophy now players' lives are at stake. Now it's up to PCB what plan of action they gonna execute to avoid these types of incidents shortly.
