As per the PTI report, he managed to break the security cordon at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and entered the field just after the players from both teams came onto the ground. The security officials rushed to the field and grabbed the trespasser who was busy chatting with India’s star batter Virat Kohli. He appeared in the Indian jersey this time to make it to the headlines.

We will work with the venue to understand what happened and consider if any additional security measures are required to prevent it happening again,” ICC spokesperson’s statement to PTI read.
A repeated offender
Hours after the incident at the Chepauk on Sunday, the ICC banned him from attending further matches in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. However, this is not the first time Jarvo has done the same. This was his fourth time invading the ground. He had first come into the spotlight during India’s 2021 tour of England in the Oval Test match donning India’s jersey.
Meanwhile, the Indian team is visibly struggling in Chennai to chase down 200 runs set by Australia. After losing three quick wickets, Indians are looking up to the partnership between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.
