Mohammed Siraj led the Indian pace attack splendidly in the final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. He did not let the team feel the absence of pace luminary Jasprit Bumrah as the bowler turned the game around on the final day of the fifth Test by taking three wickets.
Not only the Oval Test, the right arm pacer was the force to reckon with in the series as he became the highest wicket taker of the series. He picked 23 wickets across 10 innings to be on the top of the list. On his successful outing, Telangana Police congratulated the veteran for his remarkable performance with a tweet.

Siraj holds the DSP position in Telangana
For the unversed, Mohammed Siraj was conferred with Deputy Superintendent of Police position by Telangana after he won the T20 World Cup 2024 alongside team India. He became one of the few from state to hold both office and do the national duties for India in sports at the same time.
On the Day 5 of the cricual Test match, Siraj turned the game upside down by pluckinh three important wickets as India went onto clinch the thriller by a meagre margin of six runs. He was also adjudged Man of the Match for his 9 wicket haul in the game.
