The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 will take place from April 11 to May 18, with 34 games to be contested across four grounds: Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, and Multan. The tournament will start with Islamabad United vs Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi on April 11. All six teams, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Multan Sultans, will feature in a double round-robin format, and the top four will feature playoffs. The group stage would conclude on May 10, followed by playoffs, leading to the grand final in Lahore on May 18
Players Battle to Watch Out:
Babar Azam vs Hasan Ali
Babar, whose elegant strokeplay and consistency are renowned, will tussle with experienced Hasan Ali, who excels with the new ball as well as in pressure situations.
David Warner vs Alzarri Joseph
Warner's high-tempo opening with aggression will be challenged by Joseph's raw pace and bounce, and it will be an exhilarating powerplay battle.
Khushdil Shah vs Arif Yaqoob
Both finishers and power-hitters, Khushdil's left-handed strength will face off against Arif's astute spin and variations in the death overs.
Tim Seifert vs Luke Wood
The Kiwi wicketkeeper-batter will be tested by Wood's left-arm swing, particularly in the initial overs when Seifert tends to play big.
Mitchell Owen vs Mohammad Nabi
The young Owen’s batting skills will be challenged by the veteran Nabi’s guile and variations, setting up a smart vs bold face-off in the middle overs.
