In the clash between the Rawalpindiz and the Islamabad United during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026, the ball boy has won the Moment of the Match award for his superb catch at the stands.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026, amidst all the controversies and superb moments of the game, has reached a certain position with the Karachi Kings making it to the top of the points table with three successive wins in as many games at a net run rate of +0.486, while Hyderabad Kingsmen stayed at the bottom with no victory in three fixtures.
Amidst several moments of the game between Rawalpindiz and Islamabad United, the authorities decided to give the moment of the match to a ball boy, who grabbed a dashing catch at the stands and impressed many on television.

After the game, in the presentation ceremony of the PSL 2026, it was announced that the authorities had decided to hand the ‘moment of the match’ award to the ball boy, young Kumba Iqbal, who was calm and held his shape to grab the fine catch at the stand.
It was nailed by the left-handed batter, Abdullah Fazal, for a six as Iqbal caught the catch. This award will inspire a lot of the other ball boys to show their good fielding performance on the other side of the boundary rope.

Islamabad United blows away Rawalpindiz in seven-wicket victory
Rawalpindiz batted first and posted a very below-par score of 156 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs of the innings. At one point, they were cruising on 96/5 in 14.3 overs and looked hard to cross the 150-run mark.

Kamran Ghulam smashed a fine knock of 50 runs in 39 balls with the help of six boundaries and a couple of sixes at a strike rate of 128.21. Meanwhile, Dan Forrester nailed an unbeaten knock of 44 runs in just 19 balls, shouldering on two fours and four sixes.
In reply, Islamabad United completed the chase by seven wickets in 14.2 overs, thanks to Sameer Minhas’ 70-run knock in 36 balls at a strike rate of 194.44, shouldering on seven boundaries and four sixes. Mark Chapman remained unbeaten on 24 runs in just seven balls.
