Patidar takes the catch of IPL 2026 Final — Gill gone for 10, GT in trouble

On the first delivery of the third over, Gill continued from where he left as he took on Josh Hazlewood and rocked the pull shot over the mid-wicket region and put the pressure back on the bowler straightaway with a boundary. It was the followed by Gill’s dismissal for 10 runs off eight balls.

It was a short of a length delivery with some extra bounce as Gill looked to play his favorite short-arm jab pull shot. This one got big on him a bit as he ended up slicing it high where Rajat Patidar ran from the mid-off region and grabbed a fine catch to send his opposite number back into the hut.
