It is the moment for Royal Challengers Bengaluru; it is the moment for Virat Kohli. And obviously a historical night for Rajat Patidar, who guided the team to the throne in his very first year as the captain. Virat Kohli was on the right side of Patidar, couldn't stop his tears of joy, couldn't stop the happiness, shades of emotions all over his face.

A team effort at the highest order

Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer chose to bowl after winning the toss. They tried to maintain a tight line and length so that RCB batter couldn't swing their blades freely. Despite the obstacles laid by the Punjab, Royal Challengers Bengaluru was able to get a fighting total of 190 on the scoreboard. Due to rain, the outfield of the Ahmedabad stadium was a little bit slower than usual.

But that didn't stop RCB batters from taking an aerial route and taking risks to gain as many runs as possible. RCB won the final and won the tournament as a result of their collective efforts as a unit. The bowling side delivered well enough to halt Shreyas Iyer's team at 184 after losing 7 scalps. RCB won the IPL 2025 grand finale by 6 runs, and Krunal Pandya grabbed the man of the match trophy for his brilliant bowling, offering only 17 runs in 4 overs and bagging 2 wickets.
