Reports: Unwell Shubman Gill to miss Duleep Trophy 2025

The Duleep trophy will begin on August 28. Shubman Gill was named as the captain of the North zone. He was poised to lead the team in the Duleep trophy, but as it stands out, Gill will miss the whole of the Duleep trophy as he is unwell at home. The North zone selectors had already already made arrangements for the players who are about to miss the Duleep trophy and were selected in the Asia cup 2025 tournament.

Other notable players in the North Zone along with Gill are Harshit Rana, Yash Dhull, and Arshdeep Singh trophy marks the start of the India's domestic season. This time around Duleep Trophy has coincident coincided with the Asia of 2025, hence a lot of player will miss the domestic trophy. For the unversed, Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9 and the current edition of the Asia Cup will take place in Dubai.
