WATCH: RJ Mahvash celebrates Punjab Kings' win against MI in IPL 2025 Qualifier 2

Supporters and the dugout of Punjab Kings (PBKS) erupted in joy after Shreyas Iyer hit the six on the final delivery of the 19th over to confirm their win and a spot in the final against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). 

Punjab Kings  and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are both in search of their first-ever IPL title. The tournament is going to get a new champion this season.

After a defeat against RCB in Qualifier 1, PBKS was under tremendous pressure against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2—either a ticket to the final or packed bags to go home. PBKS got a big boost after Yuzvendra Chahal was declared fit to play in Ahmedabad against the Mumbai Indians.

After stabilizing the innings, Iyer and Josh Inglis shifted their gears at the right time in the second innings; later, the remaining power-hitting job was perfectly done by Nehal Wadhera, a former Mumbai Indians player. Iyer remained unbeaten and left the field after pushing his team to the final, where they'll face Royal Challengers Bengaluru tomorrow.

Ahead of the all-important match (Sunday, June 1), Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta paid a visit to the Ambaji Temple in Gujarat. Zinta and Yuzvendra Chahal's rumored girlfriend, RJ Mahvash, were present in the gallery to witness PBKS vs. MI clash and hoped for the best outcome in favor of PBKS. 

Shreyas Iyer, Josh Inglis, and Nehal Wadhera's collective efforts proved enough to successfully chase down MI's 203 and finalize the title shot. After the conclusion of the PBKS vs. MI contest, RJ Mahvash was spotted on the ground, celebrating the historic moment of Punjab Kings.
