After finishing the three-match ODI series against New Zealand at home in the middle of January, Rohit Sharma, the former Indian captain, is in a parenting role ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, where he will turn up for the Mumbai Indians towards the end of March. But as of now, the Nagpur-born is on a break. 

Meanwhile, a cute and heartwarming video of Rohit Sharma has gone viral around social media platforms, where he is seen holding the finger of his son, Ahaan, and teaching him how to walk. While walking, he is looking for his mother, Ritika, and when he sees her, he calls out ‘Mamma’ as it reflects how the baby has grown rapidly.

The 38-year-old opening batter of the Indian side, Rohit Sharma, has smashed a total of 4231 runs in T20Is at a strike rate of 140.89 before retiring from the format, while in Tests, he has clubbed 4301 runs in 116 innings, thanks to 12 centuries and 18 half-centuries at an average of 40.57.

Subsequently, in the ODIs, he has carried a very successful career with 11577 runs in 274 innings at an average of nearly 49 and a strike rate of 92.74, shouldering on 33 centuries and 61 half-centuries at the best score of 264 runs against Sri Lanka.
