The Adelaide Oval on Thursday witnessed a vintage Rohit Sharma (73) during AUS vs IND 2nd ODI. The partnership between Sharma and Shreyas Iyer (61) pulled the team out of danger and set the momentum to get a competitive score. During their partnership, few conversations were caught in the mic.

A video of Sharma and Iyer caught cricket fans' attention because of their conversation. In the video we can hear that Iyer was asking Sharma for a call. Though, Rohit denied his request straightaway by saying, "Arre tereko call dena padega." In reply, Iyer said, "Mujhe uska angel pata nahi."

Irfan Pathan and Sanjay Manjrekar were then in the studio and enjoyed the moment thoroughly. While Pathan was smiling, Manjrekar said that it was a message from Rohit Sharma for the 'garden boys.'

Hilarious comments made by Rohit Sharma during AUS vs IND 2nd ODI

Throughout his international career, Sharma established himself as a prolific batter and leader who often makes hilarious comments. The way he talked during the matches is the evidence of his calm personality. Many comments made by Sharma were recorded on the stump mic, like his infamous 'garden boy' comment. The phrase "Garden me ghoomne wale ladke" became a popular and humorous term among Indian cricket fans.

After losing the toss, India went to bat first in the second ODI of the tour vs. Australia. Unlike the first match, where the Indian batting line-up rattled, this time at the Adelaide Oval, they put 264 runs on the scoreboard in exchange for 9 wickets. Sharma was the highest run scorer in the match for Team India. When Team India was again in front of a possible batting collapse, Sharma delivered. With his vintage pull and lofted shots, the Mumbaikar displayed his class again. In the 73-run inning, he smashed seven 4s and a couple of over-boundary. Iyer, too, played the important innings to carry the momentum initiated by Rohit Sharma.
