As the 2023 IPL comes next and all the players are scattered in their own franchise Rohit Sharma says in the last conference that it’s now on the franchise how they manage the workload of a player. As an experienced player, he believes that workload maintenance is important for the player’s mental & physical well-being and also for their own performance on the field.

Captain also adds that the teams have to be always careful about their schedule as all players get adequate rest between matches. As all the team members met on June 7 at the WTC final in England he doesn’t want to lose any other important player on his team. Also, he expressed that the teams need to have a good pool of players to choose from so that they can rotate the squad and keep the players fresh throughout the IPL 2023 season.

This IPL 2023 season is 52 days long. So the IPL has come under criticism for its packed schedule and its demanding nature. This fully-packed cricket year has risks to cause injuries to any player. But because of this long run of IPL after that criticism reduces the chance of injuries. This gives more time for the player to recover.

Overall, Rohit Sharma’s observations on how the IPL 2023 will manage player workload are relevant and significant. The players must be properly controlled in the IPL because it is a competition with a lot of expectations for them to do well. The ability of the franchises to efficiently manage the workload of their players will be put to the test because the league is scheduled to last for more than 52 days.
