The Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play their opening match in the IPL 2026 against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 30 in Guwahati. This season, both Jaipur and Guwahati will host RR's matches due to elections. There are many new developments that have happened during the auction, as Sanju Samson and Ravindra Jadeja have traded teams.
While Jadeja returned to his former team, Samson will play for a new team this season. The star wicket-keeper batter has performed well in the T20 World Cup 2026 and will be looking forward to playing under MS Dhoni this season. Samson was an integral part of RR before he was traded to CSK.
This season, RR will have a new captain: Riyan Parag. He had captained the franchise in the previous season for a few matches. RR will play their next match on April 4 against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. This season will be crucial for CSK as well, since their last two seasons have not been good.

- They need to choose the match they want to attend. Then, they will choose the venue and the match date.
- In the next step, they will choose the stands. Four stands, including General Stands (INR 450-850), Standard Seats (INR 900-3000), Premium Seats (INR 4000-18000), and VIP Hospitality (INR 19000+), are available. These price ranges vary based on venue and match demand.
- After choosing the desired stands, the fan will need to fill in their contact details for the ticket confirmation.
- In the final step, they will complete the payment by using any of UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
- After the successful payment, the fan will receive a digital ticket with a QR code via email or SMS. On the match date, they need to scan it at the stadium and enter the ground.
