On the 26th of March, the most expected showdown of IPL 2025 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is held at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The race for the top place is on, so both the teams are duking it out for the much-needed points. Here are the top three players to watch in this match:

1. Ajinka Rahane (KKR)

The leader of the KKR team, Ajinkya Rahane, delivered an exquisite performance of his batting skills in the debut game against Royal Challengers Bangalore by adding 56 runs to the score with a strike rate of 180, scoring off 60 balls. The tactics and efficiency of KKR in the first hit will be impacted by his guide and speed at the beginning of the match.

2. Sunil Narine (KKR)

Sunil Narine was the second top scorer for KKR with 44 runs in the match versus RCB and showed that he possesses the potential to play a brisk game as the team's middle-order batsman. His versatile style as a cricketer makes him one of the standouts to watch in the game versus RR. 

3. Sanju Samson (RR)

Sanju Samson, the captain of RR, is a name that he usually connects to strong opening acts made by a batsman in the IPL. In the season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2025, his record against them revealed that he scored 66 runs. This historic figure is in his sixth season with a fifty-plus score in the first match. RR will greatly benefit from his stability at the top order.
