South Africa Women and Pakistan Women will meet in the third and final ODI of the series on 25th Feb at Kingsmead, Durban. The host have already gone 2-0 up and will be looking to whitewash, while Pakistan want to end the series on a high.

South Africa have been strong in both matches so far. They won the first ODI by 37 runs (DLS method) and followed it up with a thrilling 16-run victory in the second game at Centurion. In that high-scoring contest, South Africa posted a huge total of 361/8. Tazmin Brits scored a quick 77, while Laura Wolvaardt gave a steady start. Sune Luus added 57, and Annerie Dercksen impressed with a powerful 90. Chloe Tryon and Nadine de Klerk also chipped in to help the team reach a massive score.

Pakistan fought hard in the chase of 361. They lost wickets early, but Sadaf Shamas (61) and Ayesha Zafar (75) re-established the innings with a solid stand. Captain Fatima Sana, who played an aggressive innings of 52 runs off 36 balls, raised hopes for her side. But they lost wickets at key junctures to dent their chances and were bowled out for 345, going down by a meager 16 runs. Pakistan will now aim for a better all-round performance in the final match.
