SA20 2025-26, Eliminator: PR vs JSK head-to-head, pitch report & predicted playing XIs
A do-or-die clash where Paarl Royals and Joburg Super Kings battle for survival and a place in the next stage of SA20 2025-26.

Paarl Royals (PR) will face Joburg Super Kings (JSK) in the Eliminator of SA20 2025-26 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on Wednesday, January 22. The winner of this high-pressure clash will move on to face the loser of Qualifier 1, while the losing team’s campaign will come to an end.
Paarl Royals finished the league stage with five wins from 10 matches. Rain played a part in one of their games against the Super Kings, and back-to-back losses towards the end stopped them from finishing in the top two. Led by David Miller, the Royals will now look to reset quickly and deliver a strong performance when it matters the most.
Joburg Super Kings had a stop-start season. They began the tournament with three straight wins and later added an important victory against Paarl Royals in their final league match. Two of their fixtures were washed out, which affected their points tally. With experienced players in their lineup, JSK will aim to make full use of this second chance in the knockouts.

PR vs JSK: Pitch Report
The pitch at SuperSport Park has provided a level contest between the bat and the ball this season. Out of four matches played here, teams batting first and chasing have won two games each. The new ball could assist fast bowlers early, making powerplay overs very important.
