SA20 2025-26 Match 13: MICT vs PR

The MI Cape Town (MICT) will face the Paarl Royals (PR) in Match 13 of SA20 2025-26 at Newlands, Cape Town, on Sunday, January 4.

The MI Cape Town are still searching for their first win of the season. They have suffered close losses against Paarl Royals and Durban Super Giants, along with a heavy 85-run defeat to Pretoria Capitals. One of their matches was also washed out due to rain. Despite the poor results, MICT have shown promise with the bat and will be hoping to put together a complete performance at their home ground.

The Paarl Royals have had an up-and-down season so far. They have beaten MI Cape Town in a thrilling one-run game and also registered a comfortable five-wicket win against Sunrisers Eastern Cape. But they also suffered a massive 137-run defeat against the same team. They have been inconsistent, but they can be good in close games.

MICT vs PR: Pitch Report

The Newlands pitch has been good to bat on, particularly in the second half of the match. There is some early movement that the fast bowlers could get, but after that, once the batters are set, it becomes easier to score. High scores are expected in this match, as totals over 220 have already been seen this season.
