Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) is set to face Pretoria Capitals (PC) in Match No. 5 of SA20 2025-26, which will be played at St. George's Park on Sunday, December 29th. Both teams have played one match so far and will be keen to improve their position early in the tournament.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape had an ideal start to their season with an enormous victory of 137 runs against the Paarl Royals. Jordan Hermann had an impeccable innings, reaching 62 not out from just 28 deliveries, while Anrich Nortje had an excellent performance with the ball, taking 4 wickets while conceding just 13 runs. The Royals could only muster a total of 49 runs, which lifted the Sunrisers' morale to great heights.

Pretoria Capitals, on the other hand, had a tough start to the campaign. They lost their opening match by 22 runs against Joburg Super Kings. While chasing a total of 169, they got a good start, but then they lost steam in the last few overs and failed to meet the target. Keshav Maharaj will be looking to lead the Capitals back to success.
