Arjun Tendulkar, the son of the former Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar, has become engaged to Saaniya Chandok, the granddaughter of the prominent Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. The engagement was a private affair, attended by several close friends and family members from both sides. The 25-year-old left-arm pacer represents Goa in domestic cricket and featured for the Mumbai Indians in the past during the IPL. 

Arjun began his domestic career with Mumbai in the 2020/21 season, marking his debut in a T20 match against Haryana. Before that, the youngster represented the Mumbai side at the junior level and earned a place in the under-19 squad of the Indian side. In the 2022/23 edition, he made his way to Goa, where he made his debut in the List-A and first-class formats.

Arjun gets married to Saaniya, who is known for a very low profile and hails from one of the business families. This family has a strong presence in the hospitality and food industries, owning the InterContinental hotel and the popular ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery.

As per the records of the official Indian government, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, it has been informed that Saaniya is a designated Partner and Director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa and Store LLP, based in Mumbai.

The 25-year-old pacer has collected 37 wickets in 28 innings of the first-class format at an average of 33.51 and a strike rate of 60.6 with the help of two four-wicket hauls and one five-wicket half at the best bowling figure of 5/25 in an innings. With the bat, the southpaw has smashed 532 runs in 23 FC innings at an average of 23.13 with the help of two half-centuries and one century.

In the List A format, he has picked up 25 wickets in 18 innings at an average of 31 with the best figures of 4/30. With the bat, he has cracked 102 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 87.17. In the 24 innings of the shortest format, the left-arm pacer collected 27 wickets at an average of 25.07 with an economy rate of 8.75.
