Despite the brilliant performances in the T20 tournament for Mumbai, Sarfaraz Khan went unsold in the IPL 2026 auction. With a base price of 75 lakh, Khan remained unsold. In the previous season too, no franchise bid for the batter. As he has changed his batting style a little bit and is scoring runs while maintaining a good strike rate, Indian cricket fans were expecting to see some bids for him in the auction as well. But the possibilities proved wrong when no one put on the paddle for Sarfaraz Khan.
