Texas Super Kings Score Big to Beat Washington Freedom

In Match 23 of the 2025 Major League Cricket, Texas Super Kings defeated Washington Freedom by 43 runs at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill. Rain delayed the start, so the game was cut down to just 5 overs per side, with a 2-over powerplay.

Washington Freedom won the toss and chose to bowl first. But Texas Super Kings took full advantage of the short game and take advantage to win the game. They scored an impressive 87 runs for 2 wickets in 5 overs.
Shubham Ranjane was the star, hitting 39 runs from 14 balls. Donovan Ferreira smashed 37 runs off only 9 balls, while Daryl Mitchell added 6 runs. Washington’s Saurabh Netravalkar took 1 wicket but gave away 30 runs in his 2 overs.

Chasing 88 runs was too much for Washington Freedom. They ended at 44 runs for 4 wickets in their 5 overs. Glenn Phillips tried hard with 18 runs from 11 balls. Rachin Ravindra made 10 runs off 4 balls, and Mitchell Owen scored 7 off 6.
Texas Super Kings’ bowlers did a great job.

Nandre Burger took 2 wickets for 12 runs in 1 over. Noor Ahmad picked up 1 wicket for 14 runs, and Akeal Hosein took 1 wicket for 18 runs in his 2 overs. Texas Super Kings played better in all departments and walked away with a clear and important win.
