Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will tour England after IPL 2025 to play a 5-match Test series. Earlier reports suggested that fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may miss this series. Sources close to Team India told The Indian Express that, "We need a player who is available for all five Test matches, and he should be given the vice-captain role. Bumrah will not play all five matches, so we don't want to appoint different vice-captains for each game. It would be better if the captain and vice-captain are confirmed and play all five Tests."
