During a test against England, the legendary batsman put an individual triple century on the scoreboard in a single day of a Test match. He completed a ton before lunch on the first day of a test at Headingley, and then he elaborated the innings to a triple century and remains the only man to make 300 in a day.

In the process, his double hundred came in a record time and was considered the fastest 200 in the longest format of the game. In terms of time, his double-century is the fastest in Test history at 214 minutes. With the help of Bradman's record-breaking innings, Australia edged past the 450-run mark with ease on the first day of the third Test between England and Australia.
