Trailing the series by 0-1, Pakistan Women sent the visitors to bat first. South Africa Women scored 292/3 in 46 overs, with the hosts having a revised target of 313 runs in 46 overs. South African openers Tazmin Brits and captain Laura Wolvaardt set a solid partnership of 260 runs for the first wicket. While the skipper scored 100 off 129 balls with 10 fours, Brits scored 171 not out off 141 balls with 20 fours and four sixes. While they batted for 43.1 overs, their partnership entered into some special record books, which are listed below.
- It was the highest ODI partnership for any wicket for South Africa Women. Their previous record was a 243-run partnership by the same partners against Bangladesh Women at Benoni in 2023.
- It was the third-highest partnership for the opening wicket in Women's ODI history.
- It was the sixth-highest partnership for any wickets in Women's ODI history.

Meanwhile, Tanzim Brits' 171 not out was the second-highest ODI score for South Africa Women. The record is 184 not out by Laura Wolvaardt against Sri Lanka Women at Potchefstroom last year.
Despite Sidra Amin's brilliant 122 off 110 balls (13 fours) and Natalia Pervaiz's fighting 73 off 60 balls (7 fours), Pakistan Women were all out for 287 runs in 44.4 overs, as South Africa Women won the match by 25 runs in the DLS method.
