Mumbai openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Ajinkya Rahane had a 31-run partnership for the first wicket before Mumbai's regular wickets started falling. Only the middle-order batters Hardik Tamore (29) and Suryansh Shedge (28) crossed the 20-run mark along with the opener Jaiswal (29) in that innings.

Mohammed Siraj took 3 wickets in 4 balls in slog overs

In reply, Hyderabad openers Aman Rao (52) and Tanmay Agarwal (75) comfortably guided the team to a victory, while only Tanmay lost his wicket after a 127-run partnership for the first wicket.
