The renowned Bollywood actress has given a bold statement on the Indian T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav, ahead of the upcoming 2026 season of the T20 World Cup, which begins on February 07.

The renowned Bollywood actress, Khushi Mukherjee, has made a massive claim on the Indian T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav, ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. He has been undefeated in the T20I series as the leader since being appointed in the position last year and will continue to lead the side at the marquee event.
Khushi claimed that the Mumbai batter, Suryakumar Yadav, used to chat with her in the past, but they don’t talk at present, as per the actress. She also added that she doesn’t want to be linked with any cricketer or date them.

“I don't want to date any cricketer. There are so many cricketers after me. Suryakumar Yadav used to message me a lot. Now we don't talk a lot, and I don't even want to get associated. I don't like any linkups with me.” Khushi expressed that the Indian captain hasn’t confirmed anything regarding the same.

Suryakumar Yadav didn’t end the year 2025 on a high as he could manage only 34 runs in four innings during the recently finished home series against South Africa. The right-handed batter struggled to get going and couldn’t put up any significant performances. In the 22 innings of the shortest format in 2025, Sky hasn’t celebrated a single half-century.
The 35-year-old has overall drilled 2788 runs in the T20Is of 93 innings at an average of 35.29 and a strike rate of 163.23 with the help of four centuries and 21 half-centuries at the best score of 117 runs. In the IPL 2025, the veteran nailed 717 runs in 16 innings at an average of 65.18 and a strike rate of 167.91 with five fifties at the best score of unbeaten 73 runs.
Suryakumar will hope to get his beast form back for the T20 World Cup, where India will play their opening game on February 07 against the United States of America at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as they look to defend their title.
