Scotland face Nepal in match 33 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, February 17. Led by Richie Berrington, the Scots have played three games, opening with a 35 run loss to West Indies before rebounding with a 73 run win over Italy. However, a five wicket defeat against England in their previous outing has nearly ended their qualification hopes though other results could still keep them alive if results elsewhere go in their favour during the final round of group fixtures remaining now.

The beginning of Rohit Paudel with his Nepal team started with enthusiasm as they played well against England, only losing by 4 runs, which led to them being well received by many people. However, they followed this loss with a heavy defeat against Italy (10 wickets) and then a further loss to West Indies (9), which showed they have issues with both batting and bowling. Nepal has been eliminated from the tournament and have one more game to play (Scotland). They are trying to finish on a positive note by playing well against Scotland.
