Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosted the Final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday night (March 8), where more than 120,000 people were present on the field.
After New Zealand chose to bowl first, India slammed with 255/5 in 20 overs, where the top three batters scored 50+ runs (Sanju Samson 89, Abhishek Sharma 52, Ishan Kishan 54). In reply, New Zealand were all out for 159 runs in 19 overs, as the Men in Blue won the record-breaking third T20 World Cup title on their home ground.
