The Hundred 2025, Match 03: Northern Superchargers vs Welsh Fire full match highlights and scorecard
Take a look at the full highlights and scorecard of The Hundred 2025 between the Northern Superchargers and Welsh Fire.

The third of the fifth season of The Hundred 2025 saw the Northern Superchargers taking on the tourists Welsh Fire, at Leeds in Headingley. The home captain, Harry Brook, returned to the 100-ball side after his international assignment and decided to bowl first on the surface, which was expected to get better for battering under lights.
They also got the services of Zak Crawley at the opening position, along with the premier white-ball spinner, Adil Rashid. Mohammed Amir, Imad Wasim, and David Miller are three international members of the side. Welsh Fire had Steve Smith on debut as they went with a seemingly balanced squad.
Welsh Fire struggle for 143/9
Both Bairstow and Smith gave them a fine opening stand of 62 runs in 37 balls as the former cracked 42 runs in just 23 balls, with the help of seven boundaries. However, after losing the first wicket, they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and soon found themselves 102/5 in 68 deliveries.

Smith nailed 29 runs in 18 balls, shouldering on two fours and one six at a strike rate of 161.11. But none of the other hands in the line-up crossed the 20-run mark as they lost their way to 143/9. Adil Rashid, Matthew Potts, and Imad Wasim shared six wickets between them.
Zak Crawley's 67* leads Northern Superchargers' comfortable victory
Superchargers had a similar start with 60 runs coming in the first six sets of five balls. Dawid Malan was on 30 runs in 18 balls while Crawley made his way to 27 runs in 13 balls. They continued their treatment with the bat as the touring bowlers failed to get their line and lengths right. The openers' running between the wickets were also exceptional in the chase.
Malan added 11 more runs to the previous score in as many balls while Crawley celebrated a fine half-century. Brook charged on his very first delivery for a six. The only sucess for the Fire came in the bowling of Riley Meredith at the start. Crawley remained unbeaten on 67 runs while Brook managed 25*. The home side chased down the score by eight wickets and 11 balls to spare.
