During the 14th clash of The Hundred 2025, the Northern Superchargers and Birmingham Phoenix met at Leeds in Headingley. The Liam Livingstone-led side won the toss and opted to bowl first on a surface that he expected to get better in the second innings.

Graham Clark made way from the playing eleven to make way for the left-handed South Africa batter, David Miller. For the Phoenix, Chris Wood came into the side in place of Dan Mousley.

Northern Superchargers fire their way to 193/5

Birmigham Phoenix continue poor batting to accept defeat by 36 runs

It was another poor start for the tourists in the chase. They lost their top three batters in the first 16 balls. Ben Duckett continued to go through a tough time. However, captain Liam Livingstone and Jacob Bethell looked to bail them out of trouble with a 80-run fourth-wicket stand.

Bethell smashed 48 runs just 23 balls at a strike rate of over 200, with the help of three boundaries and three over boundaries. Liam Livingston kept nailing the big shots but couldn't complete the chase and finished with 46 runs in 31 balls with one four and four sixes. Louis Kimber departed too as he home side started to their feet over the line. Brook's army earned another victory to get into the top of points table.
