In Match 23 of DPL 2025, Central Delhi Kings put up an assertive all-round display to defeat South Delhi Superstarz by 7 wickets. Batting first, the Superstarz had a porous batting lineupand could not build partnerships, finishing with a sub-par total of 141/8 in 20 overs, which was largely because their middle order showed some resistance. The Kings bowlers, led by their spinners, were able to control the run flow. Chasing a target of 141, Central Delhi Kings kept it easy as their openers set the tone for their innings at a brisk pace. Their captain tamed his nerves with a composed fifty to get the Kings past the line in the 18th over and cement their place in second spot on the points table.
