Manchester Originals Women cruised to a 7-wicket victory over Welsh Fire Women in Match 12 of The Hundred Women’s Competition 2025. After winning the toss and electing to field first, the original bowlers didn't allow any momentum to develop in the Welsh Fire innings and comfortably restricted them to 74/9 from 100 balls. Mahika Gaur, Lauren Filer, and Sophie Ecclestone were magnificent, capturing two wickets each and restricting Welsh Fire to 138 balls. In response, Kathryn Bryce made a fluent 45 and, together with Seren Smale's unbeaten 20, chased it down comfortably in 81 balls.

Manchester Originals Women Innings: 76/3 in 81 balls

While chasing just 75 to win, the Manchester Originals lost Beth Mooney and Amelia Kerr cheaply, but Kathryn Bryce's 45 from 41 balls and a calm 20* from 27 balls by Seren Smale made it an easy finish for the Originals, who completed the run chase with 19 balls to spare.
