IND vs SA, 1st ODI: India lost the toss 19th consecutive time in ODIs

Ranchi is hosting the ODI series opener on Sunday (November 30), where the Indian captain KL Rahul lost the toss, as it was the 19th consecutive ODI toss loss for India, starting from the Final of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. 

It is comfortably the record for the most consecutive toss losses for a team in ODI history. The previous record holder was the Netherlands with 11 consecutive toss losses in this format.
