The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are playing against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on April 3 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. It was a great performance by the Super Kings batters as they scored 210 runs in the first innings. PBKS decided to bowl first, and it backfired as the home team batters started the match well.

Meanwhile, it was Sarfaraz Khan who took the spotlight with his cameo in the match. He played a spectacular knock in the previous game, and he did the same today as well. Moreover, Ayush Mhatre played an extraordinary innings, slamming 73 off 43 balls, including six boundaries and five sixes.

CSK's middle-order batter, Sarfaraz Khan, turned the game for the team after he came out to bat. He slammed the consecutive boundaries against Vijaykumar Vyshak before losing his wicket on the fourth ball. However, he scored 32 off 12 balls, including six boundaries and one six. 

He is one of those players who plays aggressive cricket and looks like a player who has the intent to score runs in the middle overs. CSK do have a few batters who score runs when needed, but the bowling is still questionable. If they want to win the game, the bowlers will have to take wickets in the powerplay and put pressure on the batters.
