Whilst chasing 140, Phoenix managed only 124 in 99 balls thanks to a fighting 44 from Sterre Kalis. 1. Danielle Wyatt’s blistering half-century

Danielle Wyatt opened Southern Brave's innings with a 59-run knock from 39 balls, which was a boundary-filled burst of energy. She went on to hit the ball at regular intervals and thus maintain the initiative. Her innings laid down the groundwork for her team to set the tempo with confidence. This aggressive start meant Phoenix was always under scoreboard pressure during their chase.
