As per guidelines, players from both teams and umpires were present on the ground for the national anthem of India. Spectators were getting off their seats; no matter how many times a player or an individual visited a ground during a match, the national anthem of India, when it starts to echo all over the stadium with the tricolor flag on a giant screen, becomes a moment that an Indian will never want to forget.
The same was true when Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals cricketers gathered in the field for the national anthem. But the special thing about today's match is that the national flag of India was also on the screen with the words 'Thank you, armed forces' in the display along with the national anthem of India.

Indian armed force: the real hero
The ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) went through a period of uncertainty due to rising military tensions between India and Pakistan. It was the Indian armed forces that stood tall when the country needed them the most, and because of them, locations near the border can take a peaceful sleep at night.
