India’s cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar remembered his very first manager, Late Mark Mascarenhas on the eve of friendship day. Mark was the first manager of then budding talent Sachin and it is widely regarded that Mark brought several sponsorships and looked after the cricketers endorsements meticulously.

It was also in his time where Sachin Tendulkar’s net-worth reached around three figure mark in crores. Sachin took to his twitter account to share one of the old newspaper clipping about Mark and wrote that Mark was more than a manager to the cricketer.

“I came across an old article that brought back memories of my first manager, Mark Mascarenhas. He was more than a manager, a true friend who stood by me through everything. I miss him and am grateful for all the moments we shared. Some bonds are timeless, that last beyond a lifetime!” Sachin tweeted.

Speaking of Sachin, it is reporter that the former cricketer is set to grace the cricketing field one again alongside Football icon Lionel Messi. Messi during his India tour is set to play a 7-a side game with Sachin, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
