In a thrilling match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) of IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad batted first and made 190 runs from a total of 20 overs, with Travis Head leading the scoring with a performance of 47 runs from 28 balls. Shardul Thakur from Lucknow Super Giants was the most successful bowler with 4 wickets for 32 runs. Lucknow Super Giants started well chasing the total, making what turned out to be a very unchallenging task. Nicholas Pooran stole the show with a blistering 70 from just 26 balls and Mitchell Marsh contributed well also with 42 runs. Lucknow Super Giants chased the total in a mere 16.1 overs arriving to a score of 193 runs for 5 wickets. The Lucknow Super Giants won the match and achieved their first win of the season by 5 wickets.
